if they were just cute, fuzzy things, and nothing else, then I'd understand the "made for toys" criticism. but they're actual characters.
the b story is great. the a story is kinda limp. I half like it.
I like the Ewoks bcz they start out as cute and sweet, but they're also brutal and violent, and that's funny.
