I see people riding them happily around town here. I'd test-drive one to see how you feel about corners and sloped streets.

Pretty black cat snoozing on me and my cardigan sweater

Not quite sure how to confess this:
I woke this morning to find spearmint chewing gum stuck in Fanny's fur.

She was sharing my pillow when I fell asleep. I just might have been chewing gum.

Fanny is now gum-free.
(scissors were used)

Hard agree! Meeting a new potential therapist is a stressful situation in itself, and asking questions makes people feel even more vulnerable. It is the therapist's responsibility to ensure understanding of what the patient is signing up for.

he absolutely could not find any of these countries on a map

the problem here is an unprecedented and staggering level of ignorance

it's a stretch to believe that the regime "thought" anything in particular

I always did this when meeting patients for the first time. Informed consent is really important.

Fantastic! Love the thesis, clever argument, and a few witticisms worthy of Austen herself!

This release is a direct result of having a president who is functionally illiterate.

Don't these guys have mothers? My Gen Z kid would die laughing at the idea that at any point I would "obey" my husband. Or that my husband would ever order me to do something. JFC.

Are we 100% certain that those Gen Z dudes understand that a "wife" is an actual person and not just a virtual image they can move with a game controller?

Ummm ... all of the traditional "throwaway" cuts of meat have gone from practically free (in my childhood) to being just barely less expensive than better cuts.

We used to get beef soup bones and chicken wings for practically nothing because they were really only good for making soup.
