Who’s paying for the Coalition melodrama

"When people feel ignored, taken for granted or abandoned, anger seeds. When no credible solutions are offered, frustration hardens into cynicism. And when that happens, political forces that promise simple answers – or someone to blame – flourish." | Helen Haines satpa.pe/rV53mbZ

The case for banning fossil fuel donations In the grand scheme of things, it’s not much money. This is part of what makes it so sad. The country’s politicians have sold out the climate for little more than a rounding error on projects that will continue for decades.

Editorial: It is very obvious that donations from fossil fuel companies should be banned. This is a kind of sickness shared across politics, a cynicism that fits neatly into brown paper bags. satpa.pe/NqcwLhz

After the LNP abandoned a court case against Adani over unpaid coal royalties, it looks pretty dodgy that the data shows they received over half a million dollars in donations from Adani.

A reminder: ICE vehicles waste a whopping 80% of energy in their fuel.

EVs are propelled by entirely different mechanisms. Energy enters the vehicle as electricity, which directly powers the drivetrain making it 3-4x more efficient.

BYD passed Ford in 2025 on total vehicle sales — a historic inflection. This isn’t about China “winning”. It’s about legacy auto discovering, too late — that once battery cost curves flip, incumbency stops mattering. This isn’t disruption coming. This is disruption already priced in. #Bettrification
