During the Iraq war I was paying almost $5 a gallon for gas in mid-Michigan & we had much lower prices than California and some other states.
I checked in briefly to a Kalamazoo station and it looks like there was a lot of damage to houses, a school, and reportedly the main hospital's ER windows got blown out in Three Rivers.
