A friend of mine sent me some old kids books. Great, I thought, until I saw them.

I’m sorry, but pictures of a chained up parrot and lion, a penguin in the heat and a chimpanzee restricted by water (they hate water) is not my idea of a kids book.

It’s basically pictures from a zoo. That’s it.

My 2,5 year old almost choked on a grape. Had to hold him upside down and bang his back.

Ten minutes later he takes another grape in his mouth, tosses his head back and inhales cuz he needs to cough 😵‍💫

Luckily that last one he got up himself. But no grapes for him when he has a cold, geeesh…
