Agreed. She and director Mervyn Leroy did not get along. He predicted that she would not have much success in Hollywood. Boy was he wrong.

Two delicately poignant teen movies dealing with sexual awakenings, bookended by a “so bad it’s really bad” slasher in the woods horror and an edgy Mervyn Leroy pre-code melodrama.

Agreed. Suspiria is one of my all time favorite movies. Trauma was watchable but just not good. His 2012 Dracula was not even watchable. It’s as if he didn’t even try.

I’ve heard good things so was looking forward to watching. What a disappointment.

I love Dario Argento, but 90’s Dario Argento, not so much.
I respect your opinion if you love the Creep franchise. Please respect mine for hating it.

Wuthering Heights (1939) and Ben-Hur (1959) are breathtaking.
HappyEnd (2024) is a fine coming of age story from Japan.
