Oi! Moron! What are you looking at? If you know what's good for ya, the answer better be my music for Bandcamp Friday.
I mean it, hurry up! Good grief... jeffpenny.bandcamp.com

I think one of the most interesting parts about sound design is how intrinsically tied to physics it is. And how a lot of time I have to contemplate how a sound would propagate in a way that isn't actually possible in the real world. It's such a cool thought experiment.
I mean, they do deserve better parts. Like imagine if they had legs!
Background image from the game Nocturne with a Steam screenshot showing 100 very positive reviews
I've been working on Nocturne for 3 years now, and its been so amazing seeing people excited for the game, even from just an early demo build.
Everyone leaving reviews, streaming the game, joining the discord, talking at conventions, posting comments, you all make the project so much more special.
I tried so hard to combine those three words into one name, but none of them felt right
I accidentally made it so happy
Anddddd the music video is out and I'm crying
Comfy is comfy
I have some time coming up, so if you need any music, sound design, or audio implementation work done, lets talk! I'd love to find some cool new projects to help out with!
I love how art allows us to express emotion, even without clear meaning. How I can read the lyrics of a song and not really know what they are about, but know exactly what the emotional weight behind them is.
I also still would love to work on more yuri, vtuber, or animation projects. So let me know if you need music/sfx for any of those things especially!

Okay, normally when I do this, it does feel like busy work. But in this case, I actually had so much fun. I think having the time and drive to just play with it resulted in such a cooler result than if I had been working on it normally. Sorry for vague posting, but excited to share eventually!
Does anyone else do the thing where you are really excited for a project, but blocked on being able to keep working on it. So instead you just find every little piece of busy work you can possibly do so you still feel like you are engaging with it?
I hate that we are at the point where if news is presented as an image with text and no source, I just default assume its fake until I learn otherwise.
Like 90% of the times when I investigate these, they are just made up. And yet they are everywhere
I realize this might be surprising to some people, but I just have to say, mixing an entire game is a lot of work.
I love when games have quest rewards for everything, but also have quests for all tasks. So you wind up with situations where people literally pay you to talk to them for a minute.
I love how every once in a while the internet collectively chooses an animal to become obsessed with. The best part to me is how the animal has no idea that millions of people are making memes of them.
Help. I've just discovered Haru Nemuri and I'm entranced.
Stage setup for Violet Evergarden Live In Concert
Poster for Violet Evergarden Live In Concert
I wonder if anyone in the theater made it the full show without crying once.
For real, this has to be one of my favorite releases of hers. INSTANTLY. It took one listen and I'm SO invested.
Why yes, I am being totally normal about Ado releasing Vivarium. Thank you for asking.
Apple on a sandwich is one of the most underrated toppings.
Okay, I'm bad at keeping to a sleep schedule. Should I start planning out my sleeping habits in Jira? Try and see if I could hit the required number of hours per sprint?

When I posted this last night, I genuinely didn't know if this was just a me thing. I'm glad to know now I'm not alone.

Does anyone else have trouble reading/watching/playing/listening to things you enjoy because they just make you want to make cool stuff too? So you just constantly stop midway through to go create your own stuff? Do other people have this problem?
I think I need to just keep working my way through Anna Tsuchiya's filmography honestly.
Just watched Kamikaze Girls. That was SUCH a fun movie, oh my god. I was not prepared for how much I enjoy that.
