Wild poppies, a fleeting burst of orange silk swaying in the summer breeze, grow untamed and free. These delicate, papery blooms rise from the roadside, whispering tales of untamed beauty and fiery color before dancing away.

Wonderful waterfall Wednesday.

During the summer months I've seen individuals going over this fall. Not me!

There is a whole lot of mountain bikers in our vicinity, actually. However I prefer sauntering along. Then I can take in all the beauty of our surroundings.

I took these a few days ago just for today, so I could share them.
We went down to the people world this morning, to pick up supplies. So glad to be back in the mountains. Ah, home sweet home.

Some days I'm on the Mtn top, enjoying the view. Other days I'm struggling to take that first step. That's life.
So take it slowly putting one foot in front of the other and be amazed at how far you've made it. Rest when you need to, then get back up. You're worth it!
