First model of the year painted! This guy is a BEAST of a mini sitting on an 80mm round base. Currently batch painting 35 Neolithic age cavemen to go with him for Hide, Stone, and Bone from Osprey games.

The other Shroudfall warband finished, a sort of Flesh Horror Alchemist kind of group of guys.
After painting multiple hundreds of models, each year, for the last couple years I put to words how I approach painting for the vast majority of my projects
Finished these up this week, a warband for Shroudfall, a newer skirmish game that has a-lot going on but after one game of it seems really fun!
Love that these are all pandas and that the leader is the red panda with the giant sword.

I've not been on here in a while but this is maybe the best new game I've played all year, or longer? It's incredibly fun. I made two friends play it and we were cracking up with the hilarious things that kept happening!

Having gotten into Historical wargaming just last year, and a friend stating recently too, I put down some thoughts; all about how starter sets simply existing have made Historicals more approachable.
