I reallocated more to cash (but not all) after the inauguration last year. Still taking a hit this week, though.

Dr. Wu
Dr. Wu YouTube video by Minutemen - Topic

Mine is Dr. Wu by Minutemen. Basically because it completely mocks the Steely Dan version, whom I think is the most pretentious band this side of Father John Misty.

IBM Selectric II was what I learned on. I could make that machine sing!

Maybe it’s youthful nostalgia for first real word processor at first big boy job but I’ve always pined for Word Perfect like one does for an early, star-crossed lover. πŸ€·πŸΌβ€β™‚οΈ

Team Typewriter, but I'll die on the hill that Word Perfect was 10x better than Microsoft Word.

Agree. β€œMost essential self” makes the β€œgolf cart fatly” phrase hit all the more harder.

The Canadian $ to USD 0.73 right now. I might buy 4 day although may just be there for 2-3 days.

There's still some people who wish Al Franken was still Senator because he was funny. But no way he comes close to something as hilarious as this by Tina Smith.

Lewandowski stays with the plane. I hope Markwayne knew that.

Mom was going to meet my eventual dad for a first date right after work. She got cold feet when she saw him in his car and asked the janitor to tell him she had left already. Janitor refused saying you promised that young man, you have to see it through for at least one date.

They have people of color in the C-Suite Liz. What more do you crazy libs want?

Ramstad at least addresses the DEI issue but then dismisses it. Consumers don't care about the the skin color of the executives in the C-suite, it's the message it puts out. I'll look forward to follow up articles in a year.

Oh boy....

Probably Macbeth. But Midsummer's, Hamlet, Henry V right behind. Merchant of Venice is really good but doesn't get presented often. I'm seeing a youth actor's version of 12th Night in two weeks, so that might get elevated. @streettheorist.bsky.social
