Ah, but the directions always miss that one critical step: MUST pay homage to the lab god at the beginning of any shift. Not doing so guarantees said instrument will jam, catch on fire, shoot reagent bottles like a machine gun, or just randomly shut down in the middle of a trauma call. π

Recently, the CDC has reported a couple of E. coli outbreaks (different strains) traced back to onions & carrots.
