The situation has changed.

The insurance company is going to rebuild my house, so I'm not going anywhere.

In a sane world, this would be a great thing. However, it leaves me with basically no money. My paypal is still banned, so I can't easily do commissions anymore. I have a plan, though.

Yeah. Though it's actually a fairly simple one! I didn't build anything super fancy. Just some basic IK limbs and a face rig. I like to weight paint it manually, so I can get away with a super simple rig usually!

The deformers were b-bones, yeah. However, I simplified it a lot in the latest iteration, and in that one, the only bits that use b-bones are the ears, tail and tongue.

I finally got the animation controls sorted out. I wasn't happy with the spine and neck controls, so I rebuilt them. I also simplified the leg controls. Now I can animate him! #3d #blender #furry #feral

Oh yeah. The regular modelling techniques are still absolutely viable, of course. It's just a personal preference really. Any of them can be used to achieve great results.
