Not to sound like a pretentious asshole but as an adult I really have such a disdain for anything that is not indie. U can feel the passion in these independent projects while most mainstream stuff feels so soulless. I want to support artists not corporations
Yk lately I've been wondering what happened to all the good documentaries and after this weekend I'm just like they're all in the indie circuit ๐ญ we been watching trash when all this good stuff is out there. How does one even watch these indie movies outside of festivals
I went to see another indie film (true north) today and there was a quote that really stuck with me: "We live in a society where everyone knows racism but no one can point out a racist"
It was a Canadian film about Concord uni of all things. At the end the director told us they rebranded smh
