Caro, dressed in pink shorts and a blue tank top with their hair in a braid and tucked into a clearly stolen from Sully plaid shirt is sitting on Sully’s lap while he holds their hand and seriously yaps. We can’t see what he’s saying cuz Caro’s kinda zoned out staring at his face. He has scars on his face and bruising on his face and arms.

Caro leans forward and suddenly yells ‘sul! Can i do your makeup?’ To a surprised sully. He says ‘I’m, sure? Like what, cover the scars?’ To which Caro says scars mean you’re alive. So he wonders if they want to hide his bruises since they make people uncomfortable. Caro grabs his hand and says ‘people SHOULD be uncomfortable with your bruises,’ implying that’s not what they want to do either.

We see them in Caro’s incredibly pink bedroom in front of a heart shaped vanity. Silly is sitting on a small pink vanity cushion he is way too tall for with his legs out, and a backward baseball cap holding back his heart, while Caro concentrates on drawing on his face with a pencil and telling his to ‘stop wiggling!’ He says ‘you’re stickin’ a pencil in my eye!’ And they retort, ‘am not. Relax!’

Upclose of the vanity mirror, Caro is holding sully around the neck and looking at his reaction nervously. He’s staring at his reflection, red faced, wearing heavy eyeliner and dark shadow. Caro asks him what he thinks. He just stutters a bit. They say ‘ you don’t have to like it! I just saw the singers you like wear it, i thought it might look cool?’ And he finally responds ‘…i like it…’ to which Caro suggests he let them paint his nails 💕

Something something about being young and recognizing yourself for the first time. (For once this poor boy is yapping and Caro’s out here like no thoughts but ✨eyeliner✨)

Teenager Sully looks down on his friend and next door neighbor Carrie with a grin. He's got a mohawk and battle vest, while carries wearing a pink striped top and looking confused

She pushes him away with sassy teenage girlness and says 'I don't know who you think you are. Nope my Sully is a shirt dude with normal hair. He smirts and says' that so? ' with his arms crossed.

He kneels down, hands behind his back trying not to laugh while she squishes his face and says jokingly 'wow, yeah, never seen you in my life. Like, who the fuck is this guy?' he snorts and replies with 'aight you little punk.' and she asks innocently, 'yes, big punk?' acknowledging his growth spurt and new look.

They sit beside eachother and she asks if he thinks he can still be friends with a barbie. He tells her he's ride or die with a barbie. She says she can't believe he went and git tall, traitor! I let you out of my sight fir five minutes! And he lovingly responds 'haha you mad bro?'

I made these characters and stories in a time where I really needed some hope, made them to be the support/found family what I wished i had at the time. It always means so much when they hit for someone else too.

Three panels on this page, Caro pulls sully up in the first one telling him he better not dare to pull her down. In the next panel he replies, 'what am I, 12? That coat probably cost more than my life.' Caro pins a fallen badge back to his jacket and says 'hehe no.' In the last panel he hugs her while she asks ' Does your dad know you're coming home today?' he replies, 'pfft no, he'd be pissed anyway. how 'bout your folks? were you at a model thing?' She tells him 'Yeah, by myself. They're at the cabin. they don't care either.'

Sully gets shy, pus his hands in his pockets and looks away. He says 'Anyway, since there's no real rush to get home, I saw the holiday fair opened on the pier today. We could nick some sweets and look at the lights...' Caro lights up and interrupts him excitedly, saying ' oooh! Sully! The modeling agency gave me some dinner money! We could eat out and have hot cider too!'

presumably we are at an italian restaurant now. I didn't want to draw a transition scene lol. Sully helps Caro take her coat off while she asks if he's ok with pasta. He confesses 'Gotta be honest, Babes, I've never been anywhere fancier than the local fast food joint.' Off screen she says 'Oh! This will be fun!' We see him watching her with a lovey dovy grin and googley eyes. he says 'mmm, speaking of fun, what¨s uh....whats going on with this interestin' new look?'

Caro strikes a full body pose, wearing an overside colorful 80's sweater in black, pink, and yellow. She has on purple leggings and white boots and ditches the beret for a purple hair bow. She looks so happy. 'oh! This agency lets me be a little less, pink barbie princess, especially when my folks don't come with. They let me keep the sweater! Itn't it cool? Like cooler than the junk i usually wear?' She looks ar him, nervously. 'It's cool, right?' Hes shoving pasta in his mouth and replies 'Are you kiddin'? You look like an arcade carpet threw up on you. ITS AWESOME!'

In panel one, Caro yells EEK and flips the person over her shoulder. In the second panel we see sully flat in the snow in his jacket, boots and jeans, laughing and saying Holy Shit Angel!

Caro realized what happened, recognizing him and covers her face in embarrassment saying ‘oh my god, sully! What are you doing here!’ In the second panel sully is lying flat and laughing. He says ‘just got out of Juvie, saw you. Thought I’d say hi! Hahah damn. You really pack a wallup!’ Caro says I’m so sorry! and he replies, ‘nah I deserved that.’ Presumably cuz you shouldn’t sneak up on people.
