I got to play the Avatar fighting game at our local and I can say this might end up being one of my favorite modern fighting games in a long time. Toph and Katara are super sick to play. I do like those water whip cancels. Hitting people with the grounded rock special is funny.

They say video games are held up by glue and duct tape. That's why speedrunning is so prevalent. Fighting games are similar except a good portion of them are held up by mud and sticks. 🐢
I'd like to remember the few times I did animate in Flash. During the 2000's, Newgrounds was booming and I wanted to learn animation. I don't have it anymore, but the first animation I ever did was of some eys and a mouth that opened up, a penis rocket flying out, and the face looking confused.

True. If you took away any mechanic from that game, it would lose it's identity. The game is just kind of it's own beast.
Back to trying to learn BlazBlue CF. I'm having a better time now learning this game than before. I still think a lot of the cast feel really strange to play. I think it's because each character is very unique in an obtuse way. I am still not a fan of the unique resource management for characters.
Looks like I got to start planning for my future living arrangements. 🐢
