i should really go to bed. it is always weird when sam goes from staying up ahead of her nightshifts to starting them proper and we suddenly do not have anyone leaning over to tuck us in at a sensible hour.

we always have at least one very well tended twig in our windowsill gardens after our first prune of the year.
we have lots. and tea. and malt loaf. but not quite as much park, at least not in the same place as the tea and malt loaf.
you are on a roll (heh) with the slightly disturbing friendly helpful robots atm
ja! we are used to sam leaving with just her eyes visible under all the woolly stuff but was wearing sonnenbrille when she left for work today! und die sonne hat warm in unser wohnungszimmer dieses nachmittag geschienen!
hmmm. blerg. but i am more a carbs type. TOAST! BISCUITS! PIZZA DOUGH (and the rest of the pizza)!
ich denke, dass sieht nicht wie backerei aus π€
bom bo bo bom bo bo bom bo bo bom
heh, nur fur ein bisschen, wir denken. aber es ist nett, warme ohren und pfotigen (?) wieder zu haben
hurrah! morning missy! hello scampi
oh no! sam has left her hat and scarf at home! she will get cool hang on. what is that blue thing where the clouds are supposed to be? and... are my ears warm?
i think if more hooms had lock screens like your hoomums the world might be a better place.
i have said this before, but that is one noble looking pup. *waves*
phew
i have just thought. does this make sunstroke definitely not blofeld?
is no one feeding them marshmallows? when did they last have a good cuppa?
or has one of you moved their keys and forgotten where?
...ok, so you let sam off knitting a jumper for huxley, but i am sure she could do you a wee flag of some sort. she was wondering what to do once she has finished the next present for the niblings.
wasp
sam says it is because old ladies just keep going. then she started giggling and saying "the lawn is twice as big, grandad," and if i had not lived with her for all these years i would not have known she was talking about this:
yes yes yes! happy happy birthday most excellent @knuthuwe.bsky.social! big hugs and stuff from all of us
we will try to send you some more today. when we looked at the forecast i told sam she was on her own for the day. flopsy and i have plenty of tea and there should still be some scones around here somewhere.
"if a farmer sees a fox on his land, he will shoot it," says the driver. suddenly glad i did not bring my hat. wind-flapped ears might be the saving of me.
me looking up at the camera from my travel bag, interrupted from looking out of a coach window
i have snacks, i have had a slurp of sams coffee, i have my cosy cool hoody on over my jumper.
we are heading out to the causeway tomorrow, and then to all the titanic stuff on wednesday. culture and history and getting windswept, all good things for recharging of a sam. and for a gromit, as long as i am well anchored for the last one.
me half looking at the camera with a paw on a leafletty brochure for the "disasters and interventions" art exhibition by oliver jeffers
this is the exhibition we came all the way over to belfast for. just one small gallery of fun pieces from oliver jeffers. sam says it was an excellent use of an hour, and there was a lovely wee cafe nearby.
we did have you-cannot-tell-they-are-veggie sausage sangers for the journey.
and we have scones for pre-snacks tomorrow.
she is veggie, isnt she? the cheesy garlic bread is well good though.
me looking down at half of a mushroomy pizza and some cheesy bread in a box resting on sams lap
ah, good, she brought me some pizza ba- SAM! IT HAS FUNGUS ON IT!
urg. painful early. still. this is what we must do if we are to make the most of our adventure time.
we intend to be outside for a lot of tomorrow. sam has rain gear but i would rather not get soggy in the slightest. we will send you any that is forecast for us.
