Jesse Jackson never stopped fighting for America, in times of darkness he turned to hope and embodied the light.
“A country that can instantly fund endless wars but debates every dime for healthcare and education doesn't have a budget issue--it has a values issue."
A billion dollars a day going towards the war in Iran so far.

Rep Stansbury: “The president & his admin can’t explain a legal justification for an eminent threat that gave them the authority to use the military—
They can’t provide an explanation of their war plan — they can’t explain why they’ve killed over 200 civilians — the president needs to be impeached”
Massie on Newsmax: "We're not getting the answers we need from Pam Bondi. I just spent 3 hours at the DOJ this week looking at the unredacted files. And I'm finding evidence of files they haven't released yet." (Note that the Newsmax anchor agrees with him!)
Today's abysmal jobs report is a reminder that tax cuts for corporations and the rich don’t create jobs or grow the economy.
What's required is investment in working people — and better wages.
When workers have money to spend, the economy grows and businesses create more jobs.
Remember this.
So Iran now has, perhaps for the first time, information about the location of our most sensitive covert sites in the region.
A completely foreseeable, unnecessary consequence of unnecessary war with Iran.
Screenshot of an X post by Congressman Jared Moskowitz criticizing FEMA under Secretary Kristi Noem, listing issues including the largest FEMA backlog in history, Florida being owed $2.5 billion, delayed disaster declarations, and search-and-rescue teams waiting 72 hours during Texas floods. Below is a video still of Moskowitz speaking during a congressional hearing.
Noem was a disaster at every level, from start to termination.
Screenshot of an X post by Acyn quoting Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt saying the president had a “feeling, again, based on fact,” that Iran was going to strike the United States. Below is a TV still of Leavitt speaking at a White House press briefing podium, with a news banner reading “BREAKING NEWS.”
We bombed a girls’ school and killed 175 kids based on his feelings?!
And this is all he had to replace Noem.
BREAKING:Democrat Alex Holladay defeats Republican Bryan Renshaw in the Arkansas House District 70 special election, flipping the GOP-held suburban Little Rock seat from 🔴 to 🔵.
Republican Rep. Darrell Issa won't run for re-election.
The leopards came for Dan.
Spot on, Ben!
Mayor Mamdani and a child play with Legos while looking very serious and concentrated. The child is impossibly adorable and wearing tiny blue glasses.
No interruptions, please. We’re building universal child care.
🏆
Seems troubling.
More troubling would be the idea that the Administration might have bombed Iran without expecting this.
Karoline Leavitt: It doesn't matter if Russia is helping Iran kill American troops.
What a breathtakingly twisted White House.
White House: the witness’s allegations are “completely baseless” and “backed by zero credible evidence.”
Fact: FBI found her credible enough to interview repeatedly, and she received a financial settlement from the Epstein estate.
CBS obtained video of the DHS killing of an unarmed man in Texas that DHS concealed for nearly a year, which clearly contradicts claims that he violently rammed anyone. He is shot with his brake lights on, car not moving or barely moving. Another DHS crime.
A beautiful tribute to Kristi Noem.
We are currently outside the ICE Broadview concentration camp where Sunny Naqvi’s family believes her to be held after being detained in O’Hare by federal authorities.
🔴 Russia struck Kharkiv with missiles, collapsing part of a five-story residential building. Six people were killed, including a 13-year-old girl, and ten others were injured.
Rescue teams are still searching the rubble for possible survivors.

Governor Pritzker speaks at the Celebration of Life for Reverend Jackson.
Reverend Jackson will live on.
In his family.
In the countless lives that he touched.
In the public servants, elected officials, and leaders that have walked in the path that he set.
In the kinder, more just world that his advocacy built.
May his memory be a blessing to us all.
I’m seeing a ton of this floating around.
It’s true, we’re bombing the hell out of Iran, but this war isn’t as one sided as they’d have you believe. In a week, the US has lost at least two (possibly more) AN/TPY-2 radar.
We have less than 15 of them and they take years to make.
