Is Bradley an adequate replacement? I’m not 100% sure but I’m willing to give him a shot. I think we need to replace the Trent creativity in the summer to challenge next season, and we are not going to do so in the form of a right back.

It’s a tough one to take and he will be very much missed. I think many fans are underestimating how much we will miss him. He is fundamentally irreplaceable. I think he’s the best passer of the ball I’ve ever seen at LFC (including Gerrard), but will we manage without him? I think so (4/x).

Does he leave a legend? Only time will tell, but right now, I think most would agree that the doesn’t. I believe he would have if he didn’t leave in this manner, he has won everything there is to win at Liverpool and been a crucial part in all of our success, but this exit leaves a sour taste (3/x).

If he truly cared about Liverpool, he should have told Real Madrid to fuck off. Leaving for free when you’re worth at least £70 million is nothing but damaging to the club you claim to love. Here is exactly where I fully understand the frustration of some fans (2/x).

My view on Trent: I have absolutely no problem with him leaving for a new challenge, it’s ultimately his career and his life. However, it’s kinda obvious Real Madrid have said to him they’ll only sign him for free (I.e., providing that he didn’t sign a contract with Liverpool) (1/x).

Now he benches him again for Rashford after a superb performance against Newcastle. If I was him I’d want out.

If I was Ollie Watkins I’d be livid with Emery. He’s undoubtably a great manager but he’s got it wrong with Watkins imo. Watkins was the reason Villa got into the CL in the first place and Emery benched him for both legs against PSG for Rashford, who I honestly refuse to believe is a better player.
