Instead of changing the plans for Colossus, this new double steel support was installed on the pyramid which reached the the ground closer to the pyramid than the original.

When Colossus was being built, it became clear that the clearance for the transfer track meant that one of the support pillars on one of the four corners of the No Way Out pyramid would be in the way.

The roller coaster lift and drop travelled along the centre peak of the pyramid and entered three stopping points along the journey, with different air, mist and rollback effects to give the effect of the ride malfunctioning.
inverted room, funhouse style βgrindersβ and metamorphosis chamber with strange robots emerging from the walls. From there you took the false elevators to the onload station where your empty train waited.

Just rode the Alpine Coaster at Midlothian Snowsports Centre. We had a wristband for three rides. After a blue sky sunny start in Edinburgh, by the time we arrived at 2pm winter had returned. The first circuit was in hail, second in snow, and third in rain.
