Sara Whitmer β’ β’ β’ 1h β’ 8 I'm sure many of you have heard by now that earlier this week, IU k*lled the print edition of its student paper, the IDS. The issue that was supposed to print this week contained criticism of the Whitten regime and IUs further slide into scist control, and they couldn't allow that to happen during Homecoming, when all the rich alumni are in town. Enter Purdue! The Purdue student paper, The Exponent, owns its own presses. Yesterday, in an act of tremendous solidarity with their biggest rival school, they printed the forbidden issue of the IDS. They then drove it to Bloomington overnight and stocked all of the IDS boxes on campus, just in time for Homecoming. Solidarity is what makes us stronger, and solidarity will be what ultimately allows us to triumph, if we can ever truly get it together. I hope everyone has a fun, safe day if they're going out today, and I hope we can think about what acts of solidarity we can begin taking to really make this movement MOVE - beyond a permitted expression of upset into more active resistance. 75 12 comments
Purdue to the rescue of IU student newspaper, whose institution was attempting censorship. Details in alt!

Jeffries: "You've got Leavitt, who's sick, she's out of control. I'm not sure if she's just demented, ignorant, a stone cold liar, or all of the above. But the notion that an official WH spokesperson would say that the D Party consists of 'terrorists, violent criminals & undocumented immigrants'..."
π hope you win quickly because thereβs gonna be a raft of bs like this on its way

Antifa is an honored place in our family. 5 of my great uncles were in service during WW2. The one who was in Pattonβs army came back to drink himself to death. My father was designated as his uncleβs keeper. He told us how terrible the nights were as the battles were fought over & over each night.

When a government restricts a woman's access to healthcare, it seizes her bodily autonomy.
It is a form of incapacitation, incarceration, and imprisonmentβrendering her unable to exercise agency over her own body.
The Tory media's shift from hysterically claiming that Starmer *did* intervene in the China spy case to hysterically claiming that Starmer *should* have intervened in the China spy case is a thing to behold.
I was in Chicago.
There is no violence except by ICE & Border patrol.
People are just going about their business of living.
Trumpsβ bullshit about Chicago is pure fiction.
Stay strong Chicago. You have a lovely city & we plan on returning!
