Wild how the Fed chair saying that *entire regions of the United States* wonβt be able to get a mortgage in the next decade barely registered as a news event
anyway, the country didn't take the white supremacist underground seriously after oklahoma city and now a bunch of tim mcveigh's run the country
As an OKC resident and former teacher Iβll extend thisβwhite supremacy is not taught at all in connection to this. Itβs framed as a random act of violence
W.E.B. Du Bois on Robert E. Lee:
βEither he knew what slavery meant when he helped maim and murder thousands in its defense, or he did not. If he did not he was a fool. If he did, Robert Lee was a traitor and a rebelβnot indeed to his country, but to humanity and humanityβs God.β
I have long wanted to go rogue at 3am
thatβs right
Mothma** (idk what it really means either. Sheβs slightly left and people think sheβs Lenin reincarnated? Or sheβs the only doing anything, and itβs barely anything lol)
And from Andor/star wars

I saw posts about this earlier and they seemed to be putting words in his mouth. But he actually did respond βI donβt knowβ to the direct question: βDon't you need to uphold the Constitution?β
crazy that an influx of dense infill housing can lower prices and make homeownership more attainable

By planning business as usual β which means refusing to slash emissions and rebuild on a massive scale to ruggedize against climate chaos β we are planning catastrophes.
Inaction = knowingly choosing destruction.

This has always been an obvious problem with their slapdash approach. You can temporarily βsave moneyβ on paper by deciding to randomly stop paying bills. But if it turns out you needed some of that stuff, itβs ultimately going to be more expensive.
The administration just announced in an Executive Order they are going to stop enforcing the CiviI Rights Act. As with all other EOs, this EO is not a law and cannot simply overturn the laws passed by Congress, although Trump + Co act otherwise. We must fight this.
βI have nothing to do with Russiaβ lol he couldnβt have more to do with russia if he were eating borscht and playing with nesting dolls
This would go some way to explaining the $3,600 a month on candles
Donald Trump is torturing people on US soil.
It goes without saying that he can't because this is a congressionally mandated report
In the wake of the Oklahoma City bombing ,the US government failed to investigate and prosecute the larger white supremacist movement of which it was an expression. Case just focused narrowly on McVeigh.
Yet another decision that looks pretty bad in retrospect.

Whispers *charlie xcx is for girls who donβt wanna feel guilty being rich*
Itβs because they arenβt significantly driving up prices. They have a microscopic share of total supply, while total supply is way under what it needs to be to regulate price
there is nothing good about Harry Potter, it is tangibly and materially harmful to real people
In Bloomberg CityLab, I explained why cities must build cycling *networks* β not just lanes.
Itβs a lesson that many elected leaders have yet to learn (esp Ontarioβs Doug Ford, who is taking a sledgehammer to Toronto's cycling network).

Even accepting the premise that AI produces useful writing (which no one should), using AI in education is like using a forklift at the gym. The weights do not actually need to be moved from place to place. That is not the work. The work is what happens within you.
one other way to think of this is that it is a massive program of upwards redistribution to wealthy business owners who can skimp on worker, consumer and environmental safety to juice profits for themselves www.nytimes.com/2025/04/15/u...
Very cool news, and I like the name "Also" given the messaging is about using "the right tool for the job." A car company saying this to regular people is a nice development.
