For me it’s very ripe ones. Forget it.
Oh! Hard cheeses. The dry ones. I feel like I’m eating chalk.
Zucchini—cooked, it’s mushy and grosses me out.
Eggplant—nope.
Octopus and squid sushi—nope
And then there are the one-offs. If I take a bite into something and it grosses me out, I’m done with that food for around 6 months.
I’ve managed to get rid of most of them. I couldn’t tell you how. Ones that persist:
Large mollusks—I can deal with little clams and mussels but those big steamer clams and oysters, forget it.
Melted cheese that cools off and congeals. That means I have to eat pizza and grilled cheese fast!….

Is that a thing? Even a cursory amount of research will tell you they're not the same. Mental health professionals will tell you they're not the same. Civilians with one or both will tell you they're not the same. Sure there is overlap but to conclude that they're the same is a bit of a leap.
