It’s hard facing people that you know voted for Trump, watching them be sad that you’re leaving and that you won’t work with/for them anymore. Because they only see what’s right in front of them. But they voted in a way that forced me to leave MO. I have so many complex feelings.

I work in management as a trans person. Today I had to tell my staff that I won’t be able to support them anymore because my fiance and I are relocating to a blue state. We cried and grieved. Yes it’s about bathrooms, but it’s also about more than that. We are ripped away from our homes for safety.
