I think accidentally spelling out ‘Abla‘ on their launch and, in fact, their launch in general couldn’t be beat.
Like a sitcom whose pilot episode remains its best episode.

I could gloat but I’m not exactly ecstatic that the current ruling party of the UK is a haven for transphobes.
It’s fascinating, in an equally bleak way, that male retirement age (which is now everybody’s retirement age) has never been below the average healthy life expectancy.
So most people who retire are not healthy enough to enjoy it properly. Once again I shake my fist at capitalism.
Also love the centrist answer of, “But what is we put more money in the pockets of the rich? Surely that would show them both!”
Light aircraft docking bay.
Was the Willy Wonka experience under the impression Jesus would show up?
The Edinburgh Labour admin, backed by the Tories and Libdems, just voted in the lowest revenue gaining budget in the country whilst this shameful statistic landed at their feet

There are a whole bunch of people out there who yearn for the Roman Empire.
You should. The TSA is just a conspiracy to get people to show feet for free. I suspect Tarantino is behind it.
One of the best ST:TNG episodes is the one where luminaries of the Federation get together to have a long legal and philosophical debate as to whether Data counts as a sapient being with rights.
Meanwhile shall we see what percentage of the vote the anti-trans-rights Tory candidate got?
I assume the one that was being discussed was an old policy about reducing the number of ceasareans.
I‘m not sure. Holyrood being a new Parliament helps when being a new party with different ideas about how things should work, though. There’s less momentum of centuries pushing the other way.
I can only speak with definite authority for the Scottish Greens but we reach decision by consensus rather than by being whipped by our leaders. it actually works quite well - if you check voting records you will find the Scottish Greens vote as a bloc, arguably better than parties that have a whip.
It was the SNP ignoring things in the agreement (such as the need to consult us on major finance decisions like the CT freeze) under Yousaf that caused the division between the parties.
Sorry but as someone who helped write the co-operation agreement that simply isn’t true. We knew our ministers would have to abide by the ministerial code and we set aside areas we were free to disagree with the SNP on, as well as a clause for handling future disagreements.
Yes, I agree, in the Scottish Greens I think we have managed to be rid of ours. Though I could be wrong, there might be something that’s slipped through the cracks and needs addressing.
“Better they should starve than not be productive,” is all I’m hearing here.
Yeah I don’t expect people to automatically know which policies are effectively obsolete. I think it’s our job to tell them, which happened far too late with the ridiculous birth policy.
I didn’t mean for my tone to be touchy, just explaining why we have issues other less democratic parties don’t. I’d rather have that issue and a party that is actually answerable to its members, though.
The thing is, there is some bad policy left because Green parties are radically democratic and it technically requires motions from members to get rid of policy from a decade or more ago nobody takes seriously anymore.
Look to manifestos rather than ancient policies generally ignored.
My powers of prognostication are legendary.

“I have never asked a question on China related matters. Come to think of it, I probably should have asked my husband one.”
Holy shit.
What with this and what’s happened in Scotland it’s a bad day to be a transphobic politician. Throw in the Green victory at the by-election and it’s been a bad week for them.
Agree 100% - I believe abortion should be free and accessible to all at any stage of pregnancy.
Are we sure it’s her partner then?
Three of my favourite people!
Even so 12 weeks is far too strict. Some people don’t even know they’re pregnant until that time has passed!
