Thanks to the PCs for the clarification. The fee is **not** mandatory and we will simply not choose the option "funded by Horizon Europe".
Well, before I clearly express what I think about this, I am waiting for some confirmation...
To be fair, this seems to apply to any institution that requires posting the authors' version on an open repository.
Dear @iccv.bsky.social , @ieeexplore.bsky.social is apparently asking us to pay a publication fee of 400 Euros for the camera-ready version of our paper because it was funded by @erc.europa.eu . I have never seen anything like that before. Could you clarify what is going on?
