We have discovered a planet. It is quite close. A jaguar-like being lives there and bounds under the valleys. Do you want to be joyous there?

So disappointing @bsky.app @pfrazee.com Kent was an early adopter. He brought me to Bluesky. This needs to be fixed for him and all other skywalkers that need this. Please.
This situation isnβt caused by rapid growth; rather, a lack of concern about inclusiveness, starting in the earliest stages of the appβs development. My expert pals reckon it should still be an easy fix.
(Iβm retired now; worked 15+ years on developing and managing accessible websites and apps.)
Seeds! How lucky is that?!
Who did this? What do they want?
Dare you to eat some.
Double dare!

Not so much βtrendβ as convenience, I imagine. She became an artist in her teens while lying in bed, recovering from injuries that left her with lifelong chronic pain and mobility issues. If adult Frida had to spend time lying down, makes sense that sheβd want a variety of items within easy reach.
"Oh, life is a glorious cycle of song,
A medley of extemporanea;
And love is a thing that can never go wrong;
And I am Marie of Roumania."

The communal table at the local cafe. Arrayed before me are a fresh cup of really hot tea and a paperback copy of E M Forsterβs βAspects of the Novel.β Photo by me.
Another triumph for @readingsbooks.bsky.social who succeeded where others failed to find a printed copy of this classic.

They also toured with Cyndi Lauper last year.
βOverall, the study participants who saw the biased AI text shifted their positions toward those espoused by the AI.β
Victorians! Until North East link I'd never seen a dead roo near home.
I've lived here, knowing where a local mob live, for nearly 20 years. I have seen 3 dead recently.
Please remind North East Link and #SpringSt they promised a wildlife tunnel.

View along a city lane lined on both sides by 19th century brick buildings of 3-4 storeys. A modern skyscraper looms above, its pale walls and blue-tinted windows contrasting with the reds, greys and browns of the laneway. At the end of the alley, a brick wall has been painted with a mural of the Eiffel Tower in dark pink or red on a light pink background. Photo by me.

#OnThisDay in 1818, Mary Shelley's Frankenstein was 1st published. It's not been out of print since. Read Sharon Ruston on the scientific background to the novel incl. contemporary investigations into the possibility of states between life and death: publicdomainreview.org/essay/t... #otd
The problem is that a man stole an original cartoon by Cathy, modified (without her permission) it in a way that is likely to be seen as defamatory, posted it on his own BlueSky account, and refuses to remove it.
Book launch at a public library β whatβs not to love about that?! π
Woolies also has Darrell Lea bilbies: good quality, reasonable price, made in Aus, sustainably sourced cocoa, no palm oil, portion of price donated to a bilby conservation group.
Your inner kid will love it.
Yes, the current Labor government is adding to the problem, but Australian police and other civic authorities have been protecting White racists for a couple of centuries. Itβs embedded in our judicial systems and their organisational culture.
Ditto but Intro to Law, when Uni of Canberra was still CCAE and all undergrads had to take a first-year subject from every faculty, so we read the constitution as well.

After his iconic "Sunbaker" photo defined Australia for a generation, the State Library of New South Wales, Australia acquired c250,000 of Max Dupain's photos and negatives.
Tantalisingly, none of them are digitised. Trip to Australia, anyone?
