As a country we have made a lot of mistakes in foreign wars over the last 2+ centuries. But I’m not sure we have ever looked as feckless, foolish, incompetent and ridiculous at the leadership level than right now.
I think the plan is "keep killing whoever is in charge, until we decide that we can accept whoever it is."
My 3 month assessment of Mayor Mamdani. Potential to be the best NYC mayor of my lifetime. But overpowered by Tisch, Hochul, and the NYPD. At some point, we will acknowledge that he's great on non-police policy, but his smiles and charm did nothing to improve the military force that costs us dearly.

My understanding is that Mandelson was highly feared. He's both a Peer and a really intimidating guy. By December 19 or so, more Epstein evidence came out and suddenly, he was not feared anymore.
