Greg has been making this pointfor some time. I am slightly surprised that people are just waking up to this. Often the major driver of projected future deficits is a large % term for non-demographic growth. It's often huge, and in the 100s of slides that often follow it is never mentioned again

Not that I am aware of. Not much incentive for government to commission research that makes it look bad!
