Not sure I'd agree tbh.... www.bbc.co.uk/sport/footba...
Sorry. I wanted to share my anxiety with the world. A problem shared and all that!๐๐๐
With how they like to play it kinda makes sense that they are better away from home where they generally have less possession etc. Is funny how teams struggle to adapt to new stadiums too. I remember the Emirates not really feeling like a home advantage for a while.
It's going to be one of the hardest games we've had imo. I was feeling pretty positive until I read this.... www.bbc.co.uk/sport/footba...
Going to be really tough. I felt relatively positive until I read this... www.bbc.co.uk/sport/footba...
Brilliant as always ๐
Firstly I didn't say anything about wanting to work with people who are the same as me. I like plenty of people with very different interests and opinions to me but equally they were all team players. Secondly I wasn't being completely serious...
I'd be gutted if they got rid of him but equally I'm not sure the people in charge have demonstrated an ability to hire the right person so fingers crossed it's not 3rd time lucky! ๐
Why would they only be making contingencies in case they sack him? Surely they are going to sack him? Spurs were supposed to be a well run club, clearly that was not true...
I get it. Objectively Madueke has been better but even then both have not lived up to their price tag. The issue for Eze is in a very different team and still finding his feet. Most Palace fans said he's a moments player but we just haven't seen enough and he doesn't help control games which we need
Yeah I mean I don't care about film choice really either but equally when you spend 5 days a week with someone it's good to know they aren't going to drive you mad! ๐
Tbh I wish more interviews were like this. So much time is wasted on both sides a lot of the time. If you know the person can do the job, just work out if you want to work with them or not.
Yeah I don't disagree. Equally, under Wenger, Arsenal treated the league cup as a youth tournament which is always an option. I think however due to how early it wraps up many managers see it as a psychological boost if you can get the first trophy in the cabinet. I tend to agree with that idea.
Ultimately output gets a bit overlooked because of that initially perception of both of them.
I don't. Eze is easier to like. He's an Arsenal fan and fans desperately want him to succeed. Madueke was a player hardly anyone wanted and he came from Chelsea a team many are fed up of buying from.
PSG were allowed to move their league game to have more time to prepare for Chelsea. That support from their fa and the less competitive nature of their league is a big advantage for them tbh.
No
I for one support this initiative.
In all seriousness I do wonder whether the energy drink cup should be binned. No other leagues have 2 domestic cups.
Is part of the issue also to do with age? Generally speaking Chelsea recruit players under 25 but most top level GKs and central defenders are older than that as they tend to require more experience compared to attacking positions.
Will need a far more convincing performance at home if we're serious about winning the competition but I take your point.
1-0 is pretty pathetic considering who we are playing and how we have played previously in the CL. It also wouldn't be so bad if we hadn't been seeing the same issues since the start of the year...
It's all relative but I think we've got the worst of both recently. We've lost our imperious defence quality and we also can't put the ball in the back of the net as often as we should. Do think Merino and Odegaard are missed tbh
Which is why I feel like the frontline needs a major overhaul in the summer. Also question our midfield set up. We lack creativity and attacking threat far too often this season.
If he thinks like that then we have serious issues. We can downplay it but we should be winning away at Bayer. If we can't outscore them then we can kiss any chance of a trophy away imo
Have been for a while too. It's fine when you win to a degree but doesn't make you confident we can keep winning without any attacking quality
You make a fair point! ๐๐๐ ๐
Absolutely mad. When I saw the French kit I assumed England would be wearing their alternative kit alas we're all going to be struggling to tell which team is taking a drubbing... Oh wait...
So Ireland and Wales can't wear their home kits against each other because of colour blind accessibility but these two kits are going to be allowed? ๐ค
Is Borthwick hoping we'll think LBB is English and we'll not notice his team losing.... ๐
