Super solid on one leg too!!

Snapped together my GQuuuuuuX earlier this week (yes I brought it with my to the movie) and I’ve been having so much fun posing it! The articulation is incredible I can’t get enough of it

Ever since I snapped this together and saw the lack of color separation I knew it needed to be painted. This was a real step up in masking for me and despite some struggle I’m happy with how it turned out! Learned a lot, onto the next

Finally got my GBWC prize in! Was waiting to post my build and didn’t expect it to take this long lol!
I’m still super proud of this build, I put a lot of time into it and it’s definitely my best model I’ve made so far

My New Year’s resolution for gunpla is to paint more kits, so along with the upgrades to my equipment, I’ve also better organized my painting area! It’s nice to have everything organized and within reach

My friend and I got part of our big Ray Studio order in (I’ll post it when the rest shows up) and he let me borrow his set of scribers he bought
Oh my god they are SO nice I wish I had some for myself! Used them to clean up and scribe a couple new line on my stormbringer and it is just night and day

Gold plated HG Barbatos

Someone near me is selling the HG gold plated barbie and I’m considering buying it way more than I should…

It’d be awesome to have such a limited kit but it’s a lot to spend on a high grade 😓😓

Upgrades people!! Was able to snag this for a crazy low deal and I’ve been wanting to upgrade my painting setup anyways. Next up is to find myself a better compressor

Made a little runner holder for my building desk out of cable clips! They’re squishy enough to be easy to push and pull the runners in and out, though they don’t hold the runners vertical very well and they can lean a bit. Still I’m happy with them it’ll definitely help save space while building

It really is gorgeous, the new trailer has me wanting to rewatch the rebuilds because they truly are stunning to look at

HG GQuuuuuuX model kit on display at the gundam base Japan

Honestly the color separation is better than I expected! As I guessed most of the yellow looks like it’ll be stickers but this doesn’t look bad straight out of the box

Anyways I love the new design of the GQuuuuuux (also they haven’t even called it a gundam even while mentioning other gundams sooo)

Finding out through people complaining about the GQuuuuuuX not “looking like a gundam” that apparently some people think the same thing about the Barbatos???

Some people fr be thinking “this doesn’t look like the RX-78 it’s not a gundam”

My guess is there won’t be any orange parts on the kit, it’ll all be color correcting stickers
