Kidnapping.
Capturing a person against their will without due process is called kidnapping.
Transporting them to another country without due process is called human trafficking.
A squalid extrajudicial prison for people found guilty of no crime is called a concentration camp.

Over 2yrs, the Wisconsin Attorney General Brad Schimel only tested 9 rape kits.
NINE.
Then he rushed to clear the backlog just before he was up for reelection.
Brad Schimel is comfortable delaying justice for victims of sexual assault. That should have been the end of his career.

the word warning is glowing brightly in red on a black background
ALT: the word warning is glowing brightly in red on a black background
Just heard from a friend who has a VERY reliable source that US residents who are not citizens - even legal permanent residents and green card holders - should stay away from airports.
Customs is pulling aside non-citizens, even for DOMESTIC flights.
I don't have any more details. Be safe.

This is an insane solution to a problem that Republicans created.

Trump is laying off the DOCTORS at the Indian Health Service?! A chronically underfunded agency?! Irresponsible, dangerous, & a complete disregard for the lives of Native people and the government’s treaty and trust responsibilities.
“Shame on them” is inadequate.

For those who sneer at this:
It doesn't fucking /matter/ if lawsuits like this are meritless. It doesn't matter if it'll get dismissed.
What matters is that companies now know that they will have to spend money defending expensive lawsuits like this from state AGs.
Because they hire women & POC.

This is what America looked like before the EPA cleaned it up
A snapshot from America before the impact of the EPA and the effects of rules regulating clean water and air were felt.
It's not just fdr. One of the things the epa did not long after it was formed was document the nation's pollution via photography. That can seem frivolous, but generations of Americans have no idea why the EPA was necessary. This broke a million views when we published it in 2017

Holy Shit. They're burning through people pretty fast now. After Sassoon refused/resigned, the next two people - heads of Public Integrity Section (DC) and the Criminal Division also refused/resigned. This all JUST happened. And these are all 'actings', so they're people the Trump crew chose.

We were denied access to meet with Treasury Secretary Bessent.
They snuck him in the same way they're stealing our data: the back door.
Speaker Johnson ADMITS that even he doesn't know what Elon Musk and his cronies are doing with your sensitive information.

Did you know?
1946-Albert Einstein visited Lincoln University (HBCU) in PA, received an honorary degree, and addressed students.
He said, “The separation of the races is not a disease of colored people. It is a disease of white people. I do not intend to be quiet about it.”
Allies are everything!

SCARY AF! Project 2025. Our news and social media is already being censored. I had no idea that people around the world were protesting DJT on Inauguration Day until I happened upon a video on Tik Tok talking about it. I searched X/FB/Google and could only find one *article attached in 🧵

Makes me sad re-reading this amazing letter from ex-Watergate Special Prosecutor Archibald Cox sent to high school seniors in 1994 after they asked him “What should Americans learn from Watergate?” 20 years later in ‘94.
His answer is remarkable—unfortunately things didn’t work out so well in 2024.
