Public opinion is not fixed.
And it's the job of a campaign to move people.
This is why the "just don't talk about..." strategy is absolutely ridiculous. Voters are wearing headphones where, in one ear, is an unrelenting tirade about the evil of "those people" (take your pick) and in the other - silence. You're allowing the hate-o-rade to be the only thing heard.
Once more for the back: What people believe about Democrats is not made principally out of what Democrats say but rather what is said about them - especially from trusted networks.
Amazing to see folks simultaneously believe (correctly) that most voters are very low information, distrustful of politicians' claims and make their voting choices on the basis of parsing and crediting those politicians' detailed views.
When you goad people into believing that what a college student, without institutional, financial or social capital, writes on poster is bigger threat than what a regime cabinet member says from lectern, you've hacked being anti-semitic & using it as cover to silence valid dissent.

The absolute #BraveOfUs - not just having made a way out of none at all but reporting the truth at great risk to herself. America calls itself "land of the free, home of the brave," we must eliminate ICE/DHS to make it that way.
And, although I submit that the vast majority of voters are extraordinarily low info/not paying attention, every one of the remarks he has made for the entirety of his life must conform to those preferences.
A friend calls Congress the "complaint department for capitalism" and when you see so many volunteer to neuter themselves so they can keep serving the war monger lobbyists without having to officially endorse them, hard to disagree.
Can anyone help me understand why #Kids&CaretakersOutOfCamps isn't one of the conditions for DHS funding? Why confine only to DHS/ICE conduct on streets and not inside concentration camps?

Our guidance is to not use country names to stand in for the actions of their leaders, especially true for "Israel" bc that can be a synonym for Jewish people. Calling out Netanyahu and/or Israeli gov'ts role here, yes, but eclipsing Trump/MAGA culpability, no.
The last time the US actually declared war? 1941.

You know what will allow us to KEEP DEFEATING the regime, which includes shifting those who collaborate with it? Doing all of those above things. Yes of course we need to vote - and that vote must come with a very clear message. Our vote is a demand to Free America from this regime.
You know who won yesterday? People who have been protesting & mutual aiding & rapid responding & boycotting: it is those actions that helped shift views on ICE/DHS & with it eject Dem collaborators w regime in NC & shift others running toward the correct position that there is no "reforming" evil.

If what it takes for Republican elected leaders to locate a basic modicum of decency is to retire well...win/win.
It's acceptable, admirable even, for elected officials to evolve their views as they learn more. More admirable still are leaders whose views are driven by a true moral compass, pointed not where polls lead but rather where decency dictates.
Look at the level of commitment and resolve voters of color have to exercise their most fundamental freedom.
