Elon Musk Also Has a Problem with Wikipedia Lately, Musk’s beef has merged with a general conviction on the right that the site is biased against conservatives.

I got this book for myself as an amateur map enthusiast and I loved it! It’s an overview of various related topics (including econ, excitingly) but it’s not too high-level; Dr. Rowińska does a terrific job explaining the more complicated concepts and I learned quite a bit. Highly recommend!

Getting a PhD in education in a country that wants to eliminate the Department of Education. Great timing on my part! (also- keep in mind that it is meaningful to the other half of society at least)

I am getting my PhD in economics. Given what happened in the last US election, I worry that even if I finish my PhD, it won’t mean much to half of society, because that half thinks they know more about the economy than economists. Anyone else feeling this way? #PhDsky #academicsky
