When I was young(er) I waited in wraparound the block lines to get into hip breakfast places.

Now as an old(er) suburbanite I wait in wraparound the block lines for a community pool that’s at 50% capacity 10 minutes after it opens 😆

A researcher friend is anxious because her company wants them to use AI to innovate faster.

I ask, “How slow were you before AI?”

She can’t tell me.

Watching the 7th season of Black Mirror. Getting deja vu from Common People. They sure do like inciting incidents where folks (typically women) are put in vegetative states and someone (typically, the husband) is put into a position to decide if said person remains a human server or not.

Totally annoyed with Indeed’s advertising showing a Black man tell an Asian woman she’s not qualified for a hospitality position because she does not have a college degree
