The changes made this week by Israel's Security Cabinet seem colorless, but "to understand Israel's big-picture policy regarding Palestinians, the administrative bureaucracy matters more than the big headlines about violent settlers," observes @dahliasc.bsky.social. www.haaretz.com/israel-news/...

To be truly meaningful, the kernels of Jewish-Arab solidarity recently displayed in Sakhnin and Tel Aviv must be nurtured over the months ahead, certainly in order to replace the current Bibi/Ben-Gvir government and its policies, writes @dahliasc.bsky.social.

The great @dahliasc.bsky.social did just that (checked the polls, that is) and concludes that Netanyahu is gaslighting the public: Contrary to Bib's claims, a consistent 2-1 majority backs an independent Supreme Court justice-led commission of inquiry for October 7. www.haaretz.com/israel-news/...

Hello, I'm just seeing this. I wouldn't know but if you contact the author, he might answer & explain. It was a fairly recent survey so even if that is the intention, it would have been too soon to appear in an academic journal - these take much longer for peer review/publication.
