First bits painted for the new year starting of with some buildings for carnevale trying different effects with priming and non priming and only using ak paint pens so far so good next up some more masters of the universe battleground this time stratos

A little bit of festive fun but staying with the carnevale patricians a seasonal barnabotti this is the first one from my 2nd set of the new plastics 3 more to go

And in another change to our usual painting heres he man from the masters of the universe battleground game. The figures went together really well and there's lots of detail on them all

So we had our first game of carnevale today at our flgs. We played the 2 scenarios from the worlds faire after party using just the game minis the patricians won both games with a lot of fumbles on both sides but very fast paced quick rounds and very enjoyable

A bit of batch painting today nothing that'll win prizes for painting but I'm pleased with the end result all the storm troopers and scout troopers from the empire starter set painted in 6 hours just lord vader to do and that's another legion force finished

Last figure for today the carrion from the doctor starter set love the pose and expression on this a real pleasure to paint

And the barnabotti is finished and it nearly finished me but all the patrician starter minis are now finished and added to my original starter is becoming a nice rounded group

And the cat burglar is finished a fun figure to paint plenty of detail and nicely sculpted to just the barnabotti to go from the starter set this may take some time

And on to the new plastic carnevale figures from after the world's faire the new plastics are lovely very good fit as a multi piece figures and the detail is lovely so here's my first one the patrician house staff

And that's all folks my first patrician gang finished I'll decide what sub faction to do next later on and possibly try another faction as well

And that's the 2nd barnabotti finished just the noble to go now hopefully finished today may have to get some lower class Patricians next with less piping

Next figure up for carnevale is the female barnabotti this one was a tricky paint only because of a ll the detail but very happy with how it's come out 2 more to go

The Patrician gang is slowly building up now that the butlers finished really enjoyed this one so much detail in the face it was lovely to paint next up will be the two barnebotti a lot more work to do on their clothing and less on the flesh as they'll have masks

And after what seems to be an age I've managed to paint a figure one of the house staff for the Patrician's starter set from carnevale really looking forward to the new set being released and actually getting to play it as there's a few who want to play now

And the wookies are painted and so completes the rebel starter box now to play some games

Two squads finished from the rebel box set for legion last squad to go will be the wookies then the rebel heroes box so I have a few more command options

And the blades of the hollow king are finished I'm really happy with these and enjoyed painting these whole set as its been ages since I've painted a full set of any warhammer set i normally paint one and get bored but given me the buzz I forgot I had from painting

So two down one to go for the blades of the hollow king set now that sissendra is finished I've just got cado to finish I've thoughrely enjoyed painting this set and looking forward to painting some more then a few games of warcry

So finally got back to the blades of the hollow king set and first figure done is the death priest aurelias and kennistrix I've not painted any AOS stuff for ages but really enjoying these think I'll be getting some more of the special and commemorative sets in the future

Last figure for a few days and I've gone to horus heresy for this one a legion that I've never really been interested in but the more I read about them the more I liked them the iron warriors I enjoyed painting this one although freehand painting hazard stripes not as much but ill get better

Getting in the spirit of the season here's the iconic killer crew from spectre miniatures. With spectres aftermath rules coming out i thought I'd paint them as if they'd broken out of high security and gone on a rampage

First squad painted for legion nice simple scheme that im happy with got another squad to go and a scout squad

First figure finished for this week its a character from gangs of rome I've done a simple gravel base on this one as I'm not confident enough to sculpt the cobbles

Last couple of figures for a few days and I've gone to star wars legion luke skywalker and hondo ohnaka just a quick paintjob this time as I wanted to see how they came out using washes and speed paints and im happy with the outcome next the rebels troops

Next figure up is from crooked dice's temporal travellers range i was dreading painting this one but actually found it easier than I thought it would be thanks to the amazing sculpt. Not the most popular time traveller but one of the best in the audio ranges

First figure finished this week and its 40k yep got marines again and I was trying to work out what chapter to do as I had a few shoulder pads from different ones. I noticed however a few chapters had raven guard emblems so after a bit of research I've gone for the iron ravens

And where would a time traveller be without a pepperpot chasing them through the universe figure sculpted by wayne peters and printed and painted by me

Now that I've finished all the crooked dice electron range its TIME to concentrate on the temporal travellers. The first one is actually the 8th one and even the film he was in wasn't a success he's actually one of the best ones in the audio range and has had some of the best stories so WHO'S next
