BTW, their story is inspired by Mili’s Year N. The lyrics do a great job of capturing Zephyr’ion’s state of mind

But that’s a story for later. It’s the most complex "story-setting" I’ve ever written

In the current stage of the backstory, they have become beings who can trust each other. This isn’t merely the result of their contract, but of the powerful bond that inherently exists between them (the Hanged Man).

They join an organization related to time and cross-universe affairs

That is, until he realized that TowDas is TowDas, and the blue dragonborn is the blue dragonborn. Zephyr’ion is everything to TowDas—and this realization led Zephyr’ion, who once could only see the world as shattered and broken, to begin actively seeking out beauty and bringing it to TowDas

TowDas is completely unaware of what happened to Zephyr’ion. He is like a blank slate, but in the beginning Zephyr’ion inevitably directed all his resentment toward TowDas.

However, he only possesses half of the Hanged Man’s traits (the upright aspect) while the reversed aspect was obtained by the blue dragonborn. The blue dragonborn’s death aligns with the reversed Hanged Man: from the destruction of being ‘hanged,’ the tarot card The Tower was born. That is——TowDas

His closest friend died in this incident, while Zephyr’ion survived by sheer luck. Due to the influence of the Sanctuary, he unknowingly entered into a contract with TowDas, becoming half-Das and obtaining the class associated with the Hanged Man tarot

This, in turn, awakened TowDas (the prototype), causing part of reality (roughly the size of a city) to crystallize together with the world/universe of the Aberrations.

For research purposes, they engraved the Das-Mark onto their palms. The Lazuli family attempted to extract energy from various Containments, but this led to Aberrations invading reality.

His name is Zephyr’ion Lazuli. He was once a researcher studying Containments, and his research subject was the TowDas（original). His colleague and closest friend was a blue dragonborn (yes, the same undead who was later possessed by TowDas)

The Das Sanctuary connects all Das; structurally, it’s somewhat similar to the game Hades

Ah, he can only revive himself. His master, because of their contractual bond, is also able to remain immortal

ps. Death can actually be reversed and is equivalent to healing, but his master considers it inhumane, so... *sad
