this a GREAT deal with the free postage for locals! love the colorways, a witchy melange and some pastel self striping.

sorry but HOW is he such a POTATO and i LOVE HIM
Oliver, an orange and white cat, is sleeping on his back with his paws all curled up
Heβs just a sleepy liβl guy
people who are out here knitting full swatches for their projects . . . you're powerful bc this feels like a waste of time, not project-wise but just . . . life-wise idk!! i'm doing it though. my first ever swatch
this year, i want you to find and play many more weird and wonderful games. here's how to do it. (i made the story "members only" for discovery, but this is a friend link.)
Sylvie, a tuxedo cat, is lying on top of the frame of the mirror on our bedroom dresser with both of her front paws dangling down off the side
Okay then
it's always a tossup if i want to know what men are thinking. is having information better than not? because we know they're thinking it either way. i hate it!!
to me it's honestly kind of a perfect parcel of TV and i have watched it many times and i love "serenity" (the movie) and i do not want more. most of the men from the show can get in the toilet and flush. however if jewel staite wants to finally be my best friend just let her know i'm listening.
i love "firefly" and the idea of a reboot is MORE scary because of it. esp if certain people are involved at all, i don't want to touch it with a ten foot pole. the most recent news of them is when alan tudyk raced out of nowhere to insist joss whedon was good actually. please let it rest
WHAT THIS IS SO CUTE
i think you gotta say what part of town you're in or you'll end up driving 2 hours to get there
A watercolor style painting of two figured walking a dog in the snow under a street lamp illuminating the snow flakes falling
I can't remember if I ever shared this. A painting I did for a card for my partner last year of us walking our dog in the snow.
I always like doing these "favorite games" type things and "the games that made me who I am" is a really nice twist on the prompt. not necessarily my favorites, but the games that defined my taste and changed not just me but also the way I see games!

king lear! i'm not a natural shakespeare reader and don't love theater, so i benefited from reading "a thousand acres" alongside and revisiting the leir section of geoffrey of monmouth too. no one asked, but i really suggest helping yourself enjoy stuff like this more easily if you can.
doing a bit of yarn shopping, some cotton offcuts from Premier & some sale cottons from Drops, to work on more clothes with knit & crochet.
(most cheap yarn is plastic, doesn't breathe, retains odors -- better for scarves, hats, etc. but no judgment to those who use it for whatever they want.)
I really don't think I should have to verify that I am human to look at the Cheesecake Factory menu online. Dogs and robots should be able to look at 57 types of cheesecakes too.
i didn't know i needed this, but i did! the history of car paint colors, plus the science that made them possible
btw i literally have @pizzapranks.bsky.social TO PLAY collection in my bookmark bar. it is a gold mine. just now i see that he updated it yesterday!! you will never run out of things to try from this single page alone
all the glib replies here are embarrassing, but truly, people who don't read lit fic have no idea how much of it is still just by men and all about men! without even getting into how everyone should read more books by non men. (but truly, "fates & furies" has one of my favorite man depictions!)
A penny sits on a section of teal crochet. There are six rows, and the penny covers the height of about 2.5 rows. A yellow crochet hook is attached to the top.
small crocheting too
a small swatch of knitted fabric, still on the needle. it is variegated shades of blue, red, and orange. there's a penny on the swatch for scale. the penny covers almost 5 stitches wide and almost 7 rows high.
here are my tiny stitches. this is lace weight mill ends from herrschner's, on size 5/3.75mm needles. it's sooo delicate and diaphanous and drapey
hi. good morning. today was my second swim after not swimming for many years. yesterday i made gf cornbread with berbere and za'atar and i'm gonna EAT SOME now. i've been knitting with the tiniest, most fiddly yarn and regretfully must disclose it is the most beautiful knitting of my life by far.
