Wouldn't it be amazing if during tomorrow's L.A. protests, a whole contingent brandished boomboxes playing Sly Stone's "Everyday People" and Brian Wilson's "Love and Mercy", to show that our city stands for agents of art and hope, and not agents of ICE and fear.
We stand with all the people holding the line and endangering themselves when ICE comes to terrorize graduations, work places and other every day events across Los Angeles.
Tear gas and flash bangs are not new to us.

It was a beautiful day. Grateful to live in Southern California. But a little gloom and rain would have improved it vastly.

There really needs to be a WTF button. Hearting this feels gross.
The very definition of evil is incarcerating for life in one of the worst hellholes on Earth men who did everything right.
But it’s beyond evil—beyond demonic—to then not try to do anything to save the men you consigned to Hell, *and* to in fact libel and slander them daily when they cannot reply.
Crucible will not be streaming tonight.
