There might be an idiom here; one of our indulgent desires is slightly scrambled post-Nightmare idioms that resemble familiar ones but differ in some interesting way. Some riff on " if it ain't broke don't fix it"...

Windfall, Spenta, and Vega all offer related degrees/technical training; spacefaring society always hungers for grav panels. The Perseus Arm has some technical training facilities but no institutions of higher learning; Persean noble families send their scions to universities outside the Arm. (7/7)

and expensive equipment required, and the difficulty of initial assembly that makes their creation more specialized. Practical engineering and manufacturing experience is more important than any sort of physics background in training for a job in TOEbox/grav panel production. (6/7)
