Our volunteer collective of whistle printers is up past 1.2 million whistles shipped. It's happening very quietly, because we've basically settled into a groove, but we are still here for all your whistle needs.

SchrΓΆdinger: okay, so thereβs a cat in a box
Friend: right
SchrΓΆdinger: and because you canβt see in the box, the catβs state is uncertain
Friend: oh! So it could be both eating a little snack and not eating a little snack!
Schrodinger: oooh, yeah. maybe shouldβve gone with that.

The 2026 National Science Foundation budget is $8.75 Billion.
the thing is, every single day thereβs some new terrible news for trans people, and cis people donβt even notice or understand
1. Horrifying ruling out of the 4th Circuit.
An all-Republican 4th Circuit panel has just ruled that states can compel trans adults to "appreciate their sex" by enacting care bans.
It even directly says that trans adult care bans are legal in the ruling.
Subscribe to support our journalism.
The Lemkin Institute has issued a *THIRD* trans genocide warning, noting the next stage is widespread containment - and this was before the 4th Circuit ruled today that states can essentially do whatever they want to make trans people "appreciate their sex".

For anyone outside of Minnesota who has been wondering why progressives & leftists absolutely despise Jacob Frey, here is a very clear cut example.
Six years ago WHO declared COVID-19 a pandemic. Despite tens of millions of deaths, the world has not sufficiently addressed the ongoing impacts of COVID-19, and we are more vulnerable to future pandemics due to anti-science officials leading government agencies around the world.
If any news outlets are covering this and want to talk to a trans Genomics PhD who specialized in human genetics and the evolution of sex, please reach out to me
This is complete nonsense scientifically. It's fascist eugenics, not biology
Setting a horrifying precedent for genocide
"The U.S. is squarely within the early to middle stages of a genocidal process against trans people, the goal of which is to completely erase transgender people not only from public life but also from existence." - The Lemkin Institute for Genocide Prevention, 3/11/26
We're thrilled to release the #LongCovid Treatment Guide! This is a collaboration with @rthm.bsky.social to help patients & providers explore treatment options together.
The guide focuses on 24 medications, but includes a few other interventions for breadth /1
We collated the latest data to enable conversations between people with Long COVID and their providers about what interventions to try.
I hope this helps folks make thoughtful decisions about what is right for them & decreases some suffering β€οΈβπ©Ή
So subset of boycott supporters took it upon themselves to declare the Target boycott over but the people who actually started the movement have spoken out today no one talked to them and the boycott lives. π§΅
yeah it's super not great to have to make the decision on whether you'd prefer to die or be detransitioned by doctors
very bad actually!
Yeah the conversation about advance directives including things like βyou will transfer me out of catholic hospitals regardless of if they say it will kill meβ was not exactly fun.
a lovely friend invited me to an event that was something i wished I could do for my entire life
it was in a supremely unsafe state for trans people
and i had to tell her I couldnβt go because of it
like if I needed to go to the hospital there theyβd medically detransition me
I can not risk that
""I'm afraid I could be arrested if I travel to that state for your wedding and need to use the restroom at the venue ..."
Yes. There is no trolley problem. It is a thought experiment. It isn't prescriptive.

We need reparations for ICE victims.
Anything short of that is setting the stage for a massive wealth grab from people of color that will re-entrench racial disparities for generations.
I agree with this and it's something for which community groups should already be developing concrete plans. I think reparations are already due.
I guess this is kind of a PSA that if youβre fleeing one the worst states for trans people, consider Illinois for this reason.
Also other safe states should start doing this too, pls!
New horrors on the way for trans adults in the UK... (When they did a similar review for trans teens, they threw out 97% of all studies and then basically went "wow, there's not any research to demonstrate this if effective; guess we gotta ban it.") Now it looks like they're doing same for adults.
BREAKING: A judge refused to block a Kansas law that invalidates the driverβs licenses of transgender people and allows trans people to be sued for using public restrooms.
This isn't the final say, and we will keep fighting in court to stop this discriminatory law.
Since we're talking Polio.
In 2016 I got a Polio booster. The shot we get is considered "good enough" if you're living in places where polio is eradicated, but a booster is considered a good idea if you're going to places where Polio is still actively circulating.
Do with that info what you will
