WPT and WNET were (are?) required to maintain some local server support and it made me so happy - thought it was so cool to have that level of connection.

I feel like Wild Robot was written for Fly Away Home kids who now have children. Stop making me cry over geese!!! 😭❤️🪿
Great framing of how AI is being used as a pretense for wage suppression. We already have some AI language in our contract, but this is going to be the crux of our union organizing moving forward.

I worked on a project where the AI would regularly hallucinate ad performance that was 20% better than baseline, because that's the sort of good-but-plausible number people believe. It's biased towards telling people what they want to hear.
This is what a rigged economy looks like.
Elmo @elmo · 1h That Bunny was AMAZING. Elmo thinks he should be called Good Bunny! Elmo loves you, Mr. Good Bunny! ❤️🎶🐰 Based Yankee @thebasedyankee You and Bad Bunny should be deported
It's not even midnight and we're already at "Deport Elmo."

Here's the thing, Greg — free speech is still protected by the First Amendment under the Constitution.
If you want folks to stop saying you're the secret police who are kidnapping and killing people, maybe stop acting like the secret police who are kidnapping and killing people.
We stand with our colleagues and fellow members in full solidarity - this unfair and illegal arrest is an affront to a free press. ✊💔
Flattered, I'm sure 🔥

ICE knowingly tear-gassed a SIX-MONTH-OLD. I cannot imagine watching my infant stop breathing while trying to clear tear gas out of my car. What the fuck even?!? WHAT. THE. FUCK.

"The dirty secret that Montefiore stoops to such levels to hide is that the nurses have repeated at every session that our key demands are all about the environment Montefiore forces our Bronx patients to endure," said emergency department nurse Judy Sheridan-Gonzalez 1/3

Support and protect our nurses! We stand with @nynurses.bsky.social and their fight for a fair contract, join the picket line for the people that keep New York healthy and show solidarity with our frontline workers
Your read of the day. So much out there about how ICE is marauding its way through Minneapolis but very little about grass roots resistance. Here I speak to a teacher on the front lines and he breaks down the *numbers* of people involved in resisting ICE. Chills.

A Baptist church sign reads Blessed Are the Whistle Blowers for They Play the Music of Salvation
In Minneapolis
There are 600 Minneapolis police officers. There are 3000 federal thugs in the Twin Cities.
There are probably 5000 people plugged into one of the nested rapid response networks FOR MY NEIGHBORHOOD ALONE. Across the region, the number is probably 50,000.
THAT'S how you beat them. Build that.

Six leading medical organizations plan to ask the courts to throw out revisions to the childhood vaccination schedule announced last week by Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and other federal officials.

semi-regular reminder that ICE was only created in 2003
when you are asked to imagine a world without ICE, you're basically being asked to remember where you were when Lilo & Stitch came out
a long-ass design evolution tree with nodes for individual decisions to do, choices, and consequences
individual nodes can be expanded
# Task: Build a Decision Graph for Suspense Fallbacks Create a deciduous decision graph about how React decides when, whether, and for how long to show the fallback in Suspense. ## Scope Look at decisions related to fallback behavior. ## Commit Range Search commits in `./react/packages/react-reconciler` between **May 2018 and August 2020**. Use: `git -C ./react log --oneline --after="2018-05-01" --before="2020-09-01" -- packages/react-reconciler/` ## Source Material Use ONLY information from commits in the specified range. **CRITICAL: Do not use your prior knowledge about React. Every node must be grounded in something you find in these commits.** ## Output Use the `/decision-graph` skill to build the graph. When complete, export with: `deciduous graph > graph.json`
ok this is amazing
i've made a claude skill that uses @bobbby.online's deciduous to generate a design evolution tree from a project's commit history. this tree is generated by Claude using the displayed prompt (and my skill). the graph ~matches how i remember it

I had typed "Never obey in advance" into a Bluesky post. Grammerly suggested that if I wanted to sound more personable, I should change the text to "Please don't forget to follow in advance."
The moment I decided to cancel Grammarly.
