Last week I went to London for an interview at the V&A for a doctoral placement (and of course I explored the museum itself). Today I have been offered the placement where I'll be researching and cataloguing the Curators' Lives oral histories archive.

I'm currently researching surrealist aesthetics and tendencies in contemporary world cinema. My current focus is on the Surrealist documentary of Jean PainlevΓ© and the docufiction of Apichatpong Weerasethakul. π¬
