Is great fun watching world's best not yet understanding how everything works. My main problem with F1 is that the drivers are too good and they're too in tune with their kit so there's barely any error. The error level or unpredictability needs to be higher

Have you ever tried to reach Andrew Newburg before? Imagine he's right up your street, he's one of the pioneers in the field of neurotheology and he's fascinating to listen to (and seems like a v nice fellow)

Trade secrecy fuels climate crisis Westminster system leaves British trade policy 'hopelessly captured' by climate polluters.

The Terrifying Tentacles of Paramount’s Media Empire The Ellisons are building a multicorporate network of data mining, surveillance, news, and entertainment. What could possibly go wrong?

I wrote about the Ellisons' Warner Bros. takeover, which will create an entirely new type of right-wing media empire

What’s the point in having the biggest defence budget in the world if you have to fight wars forever?

Oh yeah…

The U.S. and Israel attacked Iran on Saturday. Earlier this week, David Remnick spoke with the foreign-policy analyst Karim Sadjadpour on #NewYorkerRadio about what it would mean for the U.S. to pursue regime change in Iran, once again.

Increasingly exasperating, and chatting about it so much at work I don’t have have energy for the daily really so my philosophy of life atm is:

look after meself, look after those near me, protest, mobilise, find joy, and be kind to people. gotta prioritse that in this climate

It’s terrifying isn’t it. Getting things securely in place so even a change in government won’t help

Starmer is a shill for the establishment, a once palatable face of power now desperately clawing to maintain his ever waning position. An embarrassment of a bloke
