β οΈ @greenpeace.orgβs report on plastic-packaged ready meals highlights that chemicals and microplastics can migrate into food when heated.
π₯ Both oven and microwave heating causes chemical leaching, with higher levels released in the microwave.

EDCs interfere with the bodyβs hormone system. Some can disrupt the function of hormones like oestrogen, by mimicking it in the body.
β οΈ EDCs have been linked to reproductive diseases, such as #PCOS, fibrosis, #endometriosis and adenomyosis, which can all be linked to infertility.
π International Womenβs Day 2026 is this Sunday on 8th March!
β οΈ Women across the globe are exposed to #HarmfulChemicals, such as endocrine disrupting chemicals (EDCs) every day that can have negative impacts on their health and fertility.
βNo clear majority is in sight for the Chemicals #Omnibus in the European Parliament. Options for a majority range from right-leaning to a centre-left alliance.
β οΈ Disagreements are mainly centred on the potential reduction in #HumanHealth protection.
