Granted the supervisor in question is the one who's always advocated for me the most, and was the one gunning really hard for me to get a pay raise. But that is also in part due to the fact that I've been cleaning up a lot of messes for him and he probably knows it

I won't get into the specifics but I've been begging my supervisor for days to respond to an important inquiry and he hasn't, which makes us both look like unresponsive jerks. And now I'm getting all the (understandable) frustrations vented out on me while he's AWOL 😴

I especially wish I had more of an existence out of work today because work has been deeply annoying 🤧 one of the things I hate most about admin type work is being stuck taking the heat from an affected person a manager's mistake
