Never played any of the Kinfires so I can’t speak to the similarities but I’ll say it has both deckbuilding and dungeon crawling… but not in a way you’d expect.
I’m saying it now: I’ve coined a new genre of games with one of my current projects. It‘s a “deck crawler”. Posting it here counts as an official copyright, so you’ll be hearing from my lawyers if I see that on a box anytime soon.
Maybe @colewehrle.bsky.social will have a copy of Infamous Traffic 2nd edition there?
So excited that I snagged a ticket for Hist Con North this summer! My 40th birthday is Origins weekend, so I’m skipping Columbus in favor of visiting the Twin Cities for the first time. Cant wait for a con full of historical game nerds like myself.

I'm honestly so impressed with StS2 after one run with each character. Events are more interesting, enemies have so much personality, and the new cardpool is full of fun combos to discover. BUT maybe the coolest thing is ways it makes me much more curious about the game's lore than the first game.
