Never played any of the Kinfires so I canβt speak to the similarities but Iβll say it has both deckbuilding and dungeon crawlingβ¦ but not in a way youβd expect.
Iβm saying it now: Iβve coined a new genre of games with one of my current projects. Itβs a βdeck crawlerβ. Posting it here counts as an official copyright, so youβll be hearing from my lawyers if I see that on a box anytime soon.
Maybe @colewehrle.bsky.social will have a copy of Infamous Traffic 2nd edition there?
So excited that I snagged a ticket for Hist Con North this summer! My 40th birthday is Origins weekend, so Iβm skipping Columbus in favor of visiting the Twin Cities for the first time. Cant wait for a con full of historical game nerds like myself.
Waiting for my preorder to show up!
It is on my list!
How good is Field of Cloth and Gold???
My goodness the art direction in this is on another level!
I'm honestly so impressed with StS2 after one run with each character. Events are more interesting, enemies have so much personality, and the new cardpool is full of fun combos to discover. BUT maybe the coolest thing is ways it makes me much more curious about the game's lore than the first game.
Since Iβm working designing a roguelike inspired game, does playing hundreds of hours of StS2 count as research?

Very excited to play with new Gudnak cards!
Congrats! It's a great game!
Congrats! I'm happy to have contributed!
Friend texted me a C&T sighting at GAMA. Wild that a game I designed almost 3 years ago is finally on its way to tables.
Congrats on the engagement and I'm so sorry for the nightmare situation of cruelty that surrounds what should be planning a happy and exciting future.
I remember seeing ads for Imposter Kings on Instagram and thinking it looked cool but not really knowing much about it. How is it?
This guy's videos are excellent
This basically describes me as a gamer
Richard Garfield's been explaining how luck & skill are not opposites for well over a decade, but I still encounter designers & players who haven't internalized this lesson. I suspect it's the number one reason people tend to underrate the amount of strategy in lighter games.
I'm so happy to present ANNULET, a game set within the world of The Old King's Crown.
An ancient game that people play in the taverns & halls across the land, with stones, cloth & cards.

I've been enjoying Rob's month of daily crosswords but today was absolutely the best one yet. Just an absolute riot!
I am soooooo excited to see what else you've been cooking up!
Oh cool! I playtested this a while ago and thought it was great! Excited to see how the final product turned out!
I also know of some outlets that give games away to their Patrons. This may seem like they're just "giving away" review copies, but they're also financially benefitting from people pledging higher support to receive "free games"
We pursue perfection in Concordia and talk about what that kind of hyper efficiency seeking decision space feels like.

Especially if your dancing partner is a real knock out
Does that mean boxing is like competitive tango?
