The latest Kubuntu looks and works really well. Plasma 6.4.5 - one love ๐คฉ
I just wanted to say, Iโm probably more proud of this Ted talk than just about anything Iโve ever done so Iโm gonna be absolutely useless for the next couple of weeks as I promote the shit out of this because I want you to watch it because it matters in the moment we are in youtu.be/dVG8W-0p6vg
Kubuntu doesn't prevent Ninja from compiling the entire Qt Framework, but kills Chromium when there's not enough memory.
P - priorities ๐
That's so cool ๐คฉ
New from the @qt-project.org in #Qt 6.10: let the compiler implement a QAbstractItemModel for you, for any (well, almost any) C++ range.

Very much looking forward to hear about the interesting ways you come up with to break, err, use this!
I bet updating Xcode will help again! ๐
I wanted to switch to an iMac for home use, but the 60Hz refresh rate is such a big no-no for me ๐
Wow! It handles 100MB text files! Pretty easily, btw. And it has a scrollbar! Love it ๐
I start a private session for this ๐
That's so cool! โค๏ธ
I wish one day we stop caring laptops and will only use a smartphone for both work and personal activity. Maybe that's the future?
This is the job I'm really proud of. And thanks to my colleagues for help with this.

Ahaha, I locked my laptop right after this post, returned back, tried to unlock it, but failed ๐
Kubuntu 25.04 Beta works surprisingly well on my working laptop. I love it even more than 24.10.
Tuned my distro to use the fingerprint sensor for sudo auth. Niiice ๐ค
I missed a point when I became such a picky screenshot editor. I tried to use Krita but returned to GIMP because Krita is missing features ๐คฏ
It's wonderful that KDE is now used in Steam Decks. The larger the community, the better. Googling various tips and issue resolutions has become much easier.
Enjoying some adventures so far. Edge lost all the saved passwords. Logged in back to Gnome DE, logged back to KDE, and Edge managed to find them all. Spotify stopped playing tracks, sign out and in resolved the issue. The md previewer is broken in Kate. Using a previewer from Okular.
Migrated to KDE on a working laptop. Now I have a screenshot tool that actually works, and that allows me to edit the captured images. This makes me happy.
Today I removed Skype from my phone and dragged a Teams icon to that place. Yep, because of the latest news.
Perception continues to be a problem for .NET. 10 years after we open sourced the platform.
Almost as good as Adox CMS 20 II ๐คญ
Qt Creator 15 running on macOS with the "Extensions" panel open and the "PhantomStyle" plugin displayed as active.
Had the chance to be part of a Hackathon at @qt-project.org
My idea was to package the ๐ฟ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ข๐๐ QStyle as a Qt Creator plugin.
I was successful ๐

On this day 12 years ago, @kcg.bsky.social posted the โThis is Fineโ comic.
Fun fact: when I build the entire Qt Framework on my laptop, the Edge browser just closes in several minutes. Looks like it doesn't get enough memory ๐คญ
TIL that entry level Intel N95 installed in cheap macmini-like nettops is almost as powerful as Core i5-8250U in my laptop from 2018. Yeah, that makes sense, but... Omg, time flies! I believed that oldie i5 will be significantly better than any Celeron-like cpu even in 10 years. But no.
