Our groups are in Ontario only and only got back to offering in person just over a year ago. If she uses BlueSky or Instagram I’d love to follow her if she posts about resources etc. I’m @jenniferjamieson on both if she’d like to see a little bit about what we do too. It is deeply meaningful work. πŸ’œ

Is the work your wife does by chance in Canada? I volunteer for an organization that supports bereaved families in Ontario who have suffered a pregnancy or infant loss up to one year in age. πŸ’›

Thank you and sorry to you as well. Grandparents grieve twice - for the loss of the baby and for the heartbreak of their children who were the parents of the baby. πŸ’›

I’m glad you are feeling some peace and sorry for the heartache you’ll always carry because of losing her.

Once a North Star, always a North Star. They just show up differently when no longer in their physical state. πŸ₯°πŸ’›

Sending hugs right back your way, mama. Declan was stillborn December 17th, 2012. Deep breath - here we go. πŸ’›

It’s difficult to explain to people who don’t know just how beautiful support groups are to hold. πŸ’›

Yes, all of that too! I’m sorry for the heartache such a loss brings you. It’s okay to meltdown though. Healing requires grieving and sometimes grief appears in the form of meltdowns. πŸ’›

We’re never too far removed time wise from our losses to seek support. Please join us at an in person group (mixed loss) or register for one of our loss specific groups online. I’m sorry you know this type of pain and you’re not alone. πŸ’›

Pregnancy & Infant Loss Network - Sunnybrook Hospital Pregnancy and Infant Loss Network is the organization families in Ontario turn to for support and hope in dealing with pregnancy and infant loss.

I used to hear this more often in the support groups I facilitate however we offer an online group now set up specifically for bereaved non-birthing parents in Ontario. If in Ontario πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦please reach out to pailnetwork.ca to join the group. There is no cost to families in Ontario. πŸ’›
