I resigned from OpenAl. I care deeply about the Robotics team and the work we built together.
This wasn't an easy call. Al has an important role in national security. But surveillance of Americans without judicial oversight and lethal autonomy without human authorization are lines that deserved more deliberation than they got. This was about principle, not people. I have deep respect for Sam and the team, and I'm proud of what we built together.
OpenAI head of robotics just resigned over company deal with the Pentagon sayingβ¦

I was relatively shocked today by opus 4.6, i gave it a decent copy and paste task. It randomly deleted few ')' in an file where there was nothing to do, it wasn't compiling until I've fixed the syntax errs.

I plan to try Cosmic, as I want to have something close to tiling manager that works with my stupid company laptop with weird nvidia card.
If Pop.OS is so pro NVIDIA and this is their WM, it might work. I don't care about bugs, I might even fix few.
Gnome is so good damn floaty, like windows is!

The RAM shortage is creating a unique situations.
In theory If I lost few ram sticks at our workplace, I would have to pay the damage of the original price of the sticks possibly even amortized price due to age.
I am surprised nobody had the idea to 'accidentally' loose some of the RAM sticks yet.

Yeah I hope we Czechs wont endup in group with these two clowns.
Our only luck is that for BabiΕ‘, EU represents a great fund money stealing opportunity so far he tends to be more EU aligned kleptocrat.

Minimal HUD is perfect.
I find out that without clear enemy indication, as a casual gamer I have hard time differentiating between enemy and friends.
I liked in some FPS games that you could have a highlight on models, if Friendly Fire is a thing here.

BT 6.0 ? Hmm sounds like they've change the modem chip, the bitch on 9a overheats when used with slightly higher CPU usage.
If that's been solved, 45W charging would not be scarry.

I will never understand, why Ubuntu LTS is not using LTS kernel nor any other stable kernel.
The Ubuntu 24.04 has kernel 6.17 which is eoled by kernel.org Canonical has to maintain and backport all the secure fixes.
How does it make any economical sense? Like the maintainers must fell silly.

i built an entire x86 CPU emulator in CSS (no javascript)
you can write programs in C, compile them to x86 machine code with GCC, and run them inside CSS

No it's pre 1.6 era. So my guess is Counter Strike 1.5, the one without shields and ugly sprite smoke granades.
But I loved 1.5 Aztec map, it was better imho than the 1.6 Aztec.

I love Nier Automata, I had such synergy with it. When they break to meta commentary, in my 1st playthrough it was 100% what I was just thinking at the moment.
Never experienced that before in my life.

Maybe it's a inherited pattern from childhood. When we did something wrong again and again, parents snapped and yells at us as part of teaching us to never do that again.
I am more concerned of people who wants AI to have full all human rights.

External dependency, company's design system is not often 'good' and has to be used. Maybe I will have to spread <a> tags over the proprietary stuff and hopes that work. Felt like routerLink could handle these events as well.

In IDE demonstration of written code, where <div routerLink does not work and <a routerLink does work.
Yeah, if I put <a routerLink=
then yes, the anchor tag does make it work.
But often time I want to make in app navigations with something else than <a>
